Private consultations with qualified members of the NAC team cover those situations where behavioural advice is needed. The NAC provide solutions to behavioural issues which are beyond the reach of straight forward training. Consultations are one-to-one and involve discussion to identify the source and cause of the behaviour.
The team is in a position help you implement a behavioural modification programme, changes to environment where relevant and support your animal with complementary medicine as is appropriate.
The NAC has extensive experience with an array of behavioural issues covering a broad spectrum of animals. Inline with demand we specialise in dogs, horses and cats. All SFVPA’s (small fluffy vunerable prey animals) such as rabbits are also welcome! To start the process you need to email a brief factual description of your animal and its behavioural issue. The NAC only works under veterinary referral so it is not possible to give advice without firstly your vet’s agreement and secondly us seeing you and your animal. We are not able to accommodate requests for informal advice as working without vet referral is against the law.
Once we have agreed an appointment with you we will contact your vet and gain their agreement before we treat your animal. Consultations for small animals take place at the NAC in Penhill, Carmarthen, Wales. Horses are visited at home.
